What’s This TV Show About?
A CBS action-adventure series, MacGyver stars Lucas Till, George Eads, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, and Meredith Eaton. The reimagined drama centers on Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Till), a 20-something adventurer. Mac creates a secret organization within the US government. There, he uses his vast scientific knowledge and an extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving to save the world.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of MacGyver averaged a 0.70 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.11 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 16% and 11%, respectively. Find out how MacGyver stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew MacGyver for season four? Though the ratings are down, I can’t see them cancelling this show this time around. The network will want more episodes for the syndication package. I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Renew MacGyver! I’m losing my mind, best show in TV currently!
PLEASE RENEW THIS SHOW FOR ANOTHER 10 SEASONS I Loved this show when Richard Dean Anderson was Macgyver & Lucas Till has been a perfect replacement. Not only did he look a lot like R.D.A. At similar ages but. He is very GOOD at it also. My children & ALL MY FRIENDS children absolutely love this show. Bring back Jack
It would be greatcto have Jack back but? Understandable issues that occur.
This show doesnt need Jack. The whole cast is wonderful jack left His last show because he wanted more money. He would probably do that to this show too. Let him go. Just my opinion.

I wish that they stop cancelling tv shows, MacGyver is one of my favorite tv shows!
I would be so sad if they cancel Macgyver! I love the series, and love seeing a smart guy being a hero!! The cast is awesome, and is strong enough to stand without George Eads, even though I loved his character! Mer Eaton is phenomenal, and so is Lucas Till.
I’m so disappointed hearing that MacGyver is being cancelled because George Eads is leaving, the show is not about his character, I will miss seeing him but I enjoy how Mac gets out of trouble with his all inventions, can you give it a chance, before just dropping the show?

Yes iam tired off shows been cancelled I want macgyver to come for season four or more fridays do not have many shows that I watch
The only reason I still have cable is to watch Macgyver. It’s the only good show still on. I hope we have season 4 coming!
Unfortunately George Eads either quit or got fired. Jack won’t be back.
I knew this show was on but was working to much to watch it the first couple years but I recorded season three and absolutely love this show and I hope they don’t cancel the show!
Anyway, it was off to a rocky start, but they picked up the writing and the suspense, and they had turned it around by the end of the first season. Keep it up. I am enjoying it immensely!
I’m really concerned it might be not getting a fourth season as 3 storylines which have been 3 Big ones are really look like there done with
