The Magicians has taken a star from American Dreams for its second season on SyFy. Arlen Escarpeta starred on all three seasons of the cancelled series.

He will now have a recurring role on the SyFy series. Deadline shared the following about his role on the drama:

“Escarpeta will play Prince Ess, a handsome, rugged, pelt-clad man, with a sort of frat bro air of entitlement and the ruler of Loria.”
