No, not that Marvel. According to Deadline, AMC has picked up Marvel, a drama about scientist Jack Parsons.

The script comes from writer Mark Heyman.

Based on the book Strange Angel by George Pendle, Marvel centers on Parsons, who co-founded the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Not only an accomplished rocket engineer, Parsons was also a dedicated occultist who practiced forms of black magic.

Heyman is set as executive producer alongside Scott Free Productions’ Ridley Scott and David Zucker.
