NCIS might be seeing another team join the fold. CBS is looking to add a fourth series to the franchise. The potential series would have a home base in Hawaii. This would put use the production base that CBS had in place while it was filming Hawaii Five-0 on the islands. Magnum PI still films in Hawaii, so a crossover with the new series would be possible.
Deals are still being worked on for this potential addition to the NCIS franchise. NCIS, a spin-off of JAG, began airing in 2003, and it is currently in its 18th season on CBS. NCIS: Los Angeles (season 12) and NCIS: New Orleans (season seven) also air on the network.
Deadline reports that viewers will not likely see a backdoor pilot episode for NCIS: Hawaii airing during one of the existing shows’ seasons. This would not be the first time the NCIS franchise has headed to Hawaii for an investigation though. Callen and Hannah (LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell, above) visited Hawaii Five-0 for a crossover in 2012.
No other details for this potential series have been revealed.

Absolutely we need more shows from Hawaii. The only reason I watch the new Magnum is to see the beauty and wonder of that lovely island. And, me me and my husband, neither of us can imagine a world without an NCIS series and the others are starting to age out. So, GO FOR IT, CBS! You have the best line up of shows hands down, anyway!
I believe enough is enough on a series. NCIS has been on way too long and time to put it out of its misery. Please no more of this series.

I would love to see an NCIS Hawaii. I watched Hawaii Five-0 and still miss those characters. I watch Magnum PI and like when characters from Five-0 show up. Wish they would do more or that. Even seeing Jerry on MacGyver. I have watched all 3 NCIS franchises. If they do a Hawaii spinoff it would be wonderful to see Hanna (NOLA) transferred to Hawaii and also the return of Meredith Brody. Love the characters from all these CBS shows and wish the network would learn to keep them alive within the CBS world on other related shows.

I would love to see NCIS Hawaii. I was a huge Hawaii Five-O fan and miss it terribly every day. I also love in NCIS New Orleans and I’m sad to see that it’s going to be ending so I think a NCIS Hawaii would be wonderful. Maybe Alex O’Loughlin can be the star in NCIS Hawaii. He was so good in Hawaii Five-O.
Yes please do a ncis series in Hawaii!¡! Alex o’Loughlin and Scott Caan would do nicely as well as Chris O’Donnell and L L.Cool J.!! I have thoroughly loved the NCIS series especially L.A. (because we lived there and Hawaii-Five O because we go to Hawaii as often as we can!! START FILMING RIGHT NOW!!
