What’s This TV Show About?
A CW fantasy drama from creators Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin, The Outpost stars Jessica Green, Jake Stormoen, Anand Desai-Barochia, Imogen Waterhouse, Michael Flynn, Robyn Malcolm, Andrew Howard, and Philip Brodie. The supernatural TV series centers on Talon (Green), the lone survivor of the “Blackbloods” race. When she was still a child, a ruthless mercenary gang slaughtered her entire village. Now that she has come of age, Talon decides to track her family’s murderers, all the way to a harsh and unruly fortress, at the edge of civilization. Along the way, she discovers she has a mysterious power, but she has to learn to keep it in check, if she’s going to save herself and the world.

The ratings are terribly low so, unless this series is really cheap for the network, I can’t see it being brought back for another season on The CW. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Remember how Dr Quinn Medicine Woman started slow with low budget and steadily improved with larger budget?
I really hope the outpost gets a second season because it’s so interesting and the plot is well developed. I enjoyed it. The way it ended is an interesting ending. The story has to continue because there is more stuff to be uncovered.
One of the best shows I’ve watched in a long time
Looking forward to Season 2. I enjoy the adventure & fantasy elements with touches of campy humor. The story line keeps me interested and there are some great scenery shots when they get out of the Outpost.
Please renew this for a season 2; it’s just as popular as “The Shannara Chronicles”! This is the best dark fantasy show for medieval time shows! I love the demon blood on the main character on how she can summon those scary monsters! I would hate to see this show canceled, especially when they did such a good job, great imagination!

I hope it’s not too late because I really have enjoyed this show this summer. There’s way too much more to see and I hope we get a chance.
The writers have set the stage for a great adventure and there is so much more to explain about the Black-bloods and their power a lot of potential for plot development
I agree, plenty of potential for plot development, back-stories, and plot twists.
I’m enjoying this show, abysmal production values aside! The actors seem to enjoy their characters and are believable in their roles. Great casting! The plot has taken unexpected twists & turns. I see the potential for some very interesting story lines!
You are right it has had lots of unexpected turns I just like the far-out monsters zombies and weird alien creatures summoned from a different dimension
A Season 2 with more episodes would be nice. I’ve been thinking about buying Season 1 on VUDU, but with just 10 episodes and not knowing if there’s a second season, is preventing me doing it. This could be a good show if they put a little more into it.
Just have to wait and see, I guess….

its a real cliffhanger in season 1 and it cant end that way.
It has been a bit hard to follow but it has great potential. I do hope they give it more time to run
