More housewives are coming your way. Today, Bravo announced they will be adding two new series to their popular Real Housewives franchise.
The new shows will take place in Dallas, Texas and Potomac, Maryland.
The Real Housewives of Orange County, the first series in the franchise, premiered in 2006. Since then, the series has become a media juggernaut, spawning six more spin-offs in Beverly Hills, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Miami, and D.C.
The Real Housewives: Potomac will premiere on January 17th, at 9 p.m.
The Real Housewives: Dallas will air later in 2016.
From Bravo Executive VP Shari Levine, in a press statement:
The Real Housewives has become a global phenomenon that drives cultural conversation while consistently breaking ratings records. We’re happy to extend the franchise with Potomac and Dallas giving Bravo fans more of what they desire: stories of dynamic women who make us laugh, cry, cheer and experience unforgettable moments we can’t stop talking about.”
What do you think? Are you a Real Housewives fan? Will you be watching the new series?
I can’t believe people actually watch these shows….and not just some people – but enough people so that they keep making more Housewives shows……
I don’t think I watch any “reality” tv shows – none of it is real anyway. Give me good scripted shows any day!
This makes me glad i don’t get Bravo Agent X is the only good show they have. I’m so sick of damn reality TV and damn housewives those shows should be cancelled but they’re always on way too long. no more damn housewives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that the housewives franchise is disgusting and I would never waste an hour of my life watching it.
