A drama series that was created by Krista Vernoff, the Rebel TV show is inspired by the life of activist Erin Brockovich today.
Annie “Rebel” Bello (Sagal) is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, brilliant, and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies herself to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost.
She works for attorney Julian Cruz (Garcia) and constantly urges him to take on the cases she’s passionate about.
Rebel is currently married to Gracy (Corbett) and they are the adopted parents of Ziggie (Barer), their teenage daughter, a former addict who works as an intern at Julian’s firm.
A corporate lawyer, Benji Ray (Lesure) is Rebel’s former husband and the father of their daughter. Luke (Palladio) is a young attorney at Benji’s firm. Benji’s sister is Lana (Jones), Rebel’s investigator and a former cop.
Benji and Rebel’s adult daughter is Cassidy (Davis). She overcame her time as a juvenile delinquent and is now an attorney who can be counted on to help her mother. Nate (Zegers) is Rebel’s eldest son and a gynecologist who’s afraid of commitment.

This show absolutely deserves to be renewed. Quality acting, writing and timely in this crazy period of this life. If ABC does not change its mind, I hope another network will. I will gladly leave and follow the series.
I Love Rebel! Didn’t even know it was on ABC. I was streaming Hulu and I’ve been looking @ all the episodes .. I’m 73yrs old and sick of reality shows and Marvel Tv shows ! This show is so refreshing! People today are not interested in the life topics of this show! A lot of us are! I hope some other network picks it up ….

This is one of the first TV series I consider worth watching in the 2021 line up of new series. It is well done and does not use profanity. It is sad it is canceled and am disappointed it wasn’t given a chance to prove itself.
Rebel SHOULD NOT be canceled. The ensemble cast is brilliant. The story lines are clever, unique and socially inspiring. There is so much crap on network TV, it doesn’t make sense why you are cancelling REBEL after only a few episodes.
REBEL is an AMAZING SHOW with BRILLIANT CHARACTERS AND EXQUISITE PLOTS!
ABC should not cancel this show.
A series like REBEL gives Hope and Love about other human beings no matter what!

This is/was the best series on TV. I was looking forward to a long viewership. I think, what would be fun, is to have her stay on both shows…She has the talent to do both. .(The Connors and Rebel), It would go viral. Please reconsider. The variety of the cast of Rebel is so important in these times. It has/had everything! 🙁
I cannot believe ABC has canceled Rebel after just 5 episodes. The story line is interesting and takes time to develop. The cast is superb. ABC needs to reconsider this cancellation.

Hate this was cancelled toooo soon! I was surprised it wasn’t cliche ridden, has a super ensemble, plots, surprising turns, tactics, so why cancel? Bring it back please!!!

I feel sorry for Andy Garcia as the script is poor and the story is too stressful for me to watch and I’m retired. I wish them well but I will not watch again.
