Rebel may have a second shot. IMDb TV is looking to possibly revive the cancelled ABC series, per Deadline. Episodes from the first season will be released on the streaming service, and if those episodes receive enough attention from viewers – a second season is possible.
Katey Sagal, Andy Garcia, John Corbett, James Lesure, Lex Scott Davis, Tamala Jones, Ariela Barer, Kevin Zegers, and Sam Palladio star in the series which is loosely based on the life of Erin Brokovich. ABC cancelled Rebel five episodes into its first season following a heavy promotional push.
Fans immediately wanted Rebel to be saved but no broadcaster or streaming service jumped in to pull Rebel out of the cancellation pool – until now. The cast is still under contract, so a save is still possible.
IMDb TV gave For Life a similar opportunity on the service. Episodes of the cancelled ABC arrived on the streaming service earlier this month. It is not known when IMDb TV will make a decision about the future of either drama.

Really really sad ! ABC is messing up by cancelling this show ! Not everybody has internet to stream shows, We rely on cable for our entertainment ! This was a great show !
Rebel, Bull and Mom were the only programs that was on my can’t miss list. I haven’t seen anything that can even come close to taking the place of Rebel and Mom. We need examples of strong women who are not afraid to stand up for what is right and to show that there are second chances in life. Please bring both shows back.
I agree ! I’m heartbroken over both shows being cancelled ! Mom was at it’s best the last 2 seasons ! We do need shows with strong women !

Well do legal thriller and the cast is enjoyable. With the vast sea of dreck on TV (ABC is included in that pile of excrement) something worth watching is a welcome breath of fresh air.

Please bring us Season 2 of Rebel. This show was smart, interesting, energetic and very well acted. I do not understand why ABC was so quick to cancel this series without giving it a real chance.
