Even before her popular television series premiered, outspoken Roseanne Barr was making headlines. She hasn’t stopped and on The Oprah Winfrey Show today she’ll be discussing fame, her marriage, and her new life partner.
She’ll also give a tour of her home on a nut farm. Some, including the outrageous comedian, might say that’s a little appropriate.
Even better, Oprah will be hosting a reunion of the cast of Roseanne, Barr’s popular sitcom that ran from 1988 until 1997 on ABC. The production company hasn’t released any actual photos or footage from the reunion but supposedly John Goodman and “the entire Roseanne TV family” will appear. The sitcom had a large cast so we’ll have to tune in to find out exactly who shows up.
In the meantime, here’s a promo — as well as Barr’s recent Snickers commercial appearance from the Super Bowl.
What do you think? Are you looking forward to the reunion? If you’ve already watched by the time you read this, what did you think?
UPDATE: It turns out that Oprah didn’t host an actual reunion. In addition to an interview with Barr and (briefly) Goodman, the program included short updates from actors Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (DJ), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Alicia Goranson (Becky #1), and Sarah Chalke (Becky #2).
I HOPE Tom Arnold will be there! It will probably turn into the “jerry springer hsow”
I’ll assume Tom Arnold will not be there.
