What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on The CW television network, the Roswell, New Mexico TV show stars Jeanine Mason, Nathan Dean, Michael Vlamis, Lily Cowles, Tyler Blackburn, Heather Hemmens, Michael Trevino, and Amber Midthunder. Based on the Roswell High book series (which was also the basis for a 1999 TV series), this series centers on Liz Ortecho (Mason), who returns to town after a decade away. After reconnecting with her old crush, Roswell PD Officer Max Evans (Parsons), she learns that he, his sister Isobel (Cowles), and their friend Michael (Vlamis), are aliens. In season four, a new threat is emerging down in Careyes, Mexico when a naked alien is brought to an American scientist (Shiri Appleby) in a nearby cantina. As this mysterious new alien is set on a collision course with our heroes, they discover that Mr. Jones might be gone, but his vile plan for two worlds might just live on.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Roswell, New Mexico averaged a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 437,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). Compared to season three, that’s down by 28% in the demo and down by 20% in viewership. While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. Typical actions of a TV network, get you hooked on a series then cancel it with no real closure. CW seems to do that a lot! The fate of Max and Dallas will never be told now. Very sad decision!!
It should have been renewed for at least 2 more seasons, it is a fantastic show, I really enjoyed it. The way it ended was not very good, it was more of a season finale “cliffhanger” than a final episode. Thanks for the 4 years, I will miss Liz and the gang.
Ich hatte erst beides : Meine Sorge war 5 staffel michael und alex getrennt sind . Aber ich gelesen habe das die Produzenten was anderes vorhaben wollte ich die 5 staffel gibt. Die finale 4 staffel war schön . Ist kein Kritik es wäre schön die Rückblenden und 5 staffel bis dahin gezeigt hätten. Es wäre eine Abschluss wenn es keine film spinoff oder 5 staffel gebe . It should have been renewed
I’m bummed to see Roswell was canceled. I watched every episode as it came out when I was in middle school & was stoked to hear they were doing a remake & hoped it was good/would do it justice. It’s great. There is so much that I enjoy. Sci Fi is my happy place. Especially in tough times. And this show also touches on current events of culture which assuages anxieties. Helping me feel comforted & not alone. I hope it comes back for the audience members who appreciate it.
With all the cheesy sitcoms that people think are funny, they don’t measure up to Roswell. Roswell is a well done Scifi with excellent actors. It would a same not to have a season 5, 6 or more. CW has a bunch of good shows but Roswell is the best.
It’s sad you guys stopped doing raswell cause it’s a great show but I’m sure you had to stop because some of it may be true and the government made sure you guys didn’t have more to put out because they wanted to keep the secret that their is something out their!
Almost It’s really good. The actors were really good. The jewelry was great. All people were represented. Good food.
And yes, Aliens walk among us. I wish Michael was my neighbor.

I love Roswell, can’t believe they are dumping it.
Very stupid, CW! You had a pretty good thing here, and you threw it away. I guess you’re on your way to the garbage heap by doing the same nonsense that sunk the SyFy channel! Here is your warning. You better not go the way they went and cancelled everything all the time, even the good shows! Their viewership has dropped to practically nothing. They dug their own grave by prematurely cancelling shows like Eureka and Warehouse 13 among a plethora of others!

I really enjoy this show. I like what it’s about but also like the characters. It’s good entertainment and has grown on me as it’s evolved! I’d love to see it renewed if not on CW then on another channel.
I guess the CW is trying to be bought by bigger networks, and they cancelled 10 shows they didn’t think any other network would want because they are aimed at younger viewers. So they never took into account popularity. It is a shame as several of the shows besides this one, were ones that I watched. It will be interesting to see what they replace them with…
I think the CW just needs to go off air. I can’t believe they keep cancelling good shows and start stupid shows to replace the ones they had on. I’m not going to watch this channel anymore. Riverdale was good. That show is starting to suck big time. The last season really was bad. Some of the other shows that are on the CW I don’t even watch. I’m so disappointed in this network.
