Thanks to low ratings, ABC cancelled Selfie and then pulled the new sitcom off the schedule. There are six episodes left unaired.
While the network hasn’t made an official announcement, Selfie creator Emily Kapnek tweeted, “Unofficially? All remaining episodes of #SelfieABC will soon be on Hulu, Hulu Plus & http://ABC.com Hugs to Peter Roth @warnerbrostv”
On the Selfie TV show, social media superstar Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) realizes that she’s disconnected from the real parts of her life and enlists her company’s marketing guru, Henry Higgs (John Cho), for help. The rest of the cast includes Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Allyn Rachel, Tim Peper, Natasha Henstridge, and David Harewood.
What do you think? Do you plan on watching the rest of the Selfie episodes? Would you rather see them on TV?
11/25 update: The eighth episode was released on Hulu today and additional installments are expected for the next five Tuesdays.
My whole family love the show so adorable. We would definitely watch it on tv. but Hulu? Not interested in watching a Tv show on Hulu
I really like and enjoyed the show and really going to miss this one. There should be a second season for this show.
It was a great show. I have been waiting and waiting for the next episode. Just found out that is was cancelled. Shame to ABC. Provide the opportunity for everyone to be able to rate.
I watched the entire season, all 13 episodes in one sitting. I really like and enjoyed the show. And not knowing if Eliza and Henry is going to end together really suck. There should be a second season for this show. I hope they make one soon.
I watch the final show tonight and literally had tears in my eyes knowing that is over. Henry is my favorite I can totally get his point for view on Facebook twitter and so on. I am 54 year old and have watched a lot of shows come and go. I am really going to miss this one. Why did it get low ratings ? What was in the apposing time slots ?
ok first of all Why did they cancel it! This was the 2nd best show I have seen in my entire life, ok it is not, but I do love this show……. at least they are showing it on Hulu
Loved the show. Was a big Karen Gillan fan from Dr. Who. I thought the writing was witty and the dialogue had great timing. I am sorry to see it go. Will be watching the remainder on Hulu
