There’s some hope for Star fans. Co-creator Lee Daniels just announced there will be closure for the cancelled FOX TV show.
The music drama follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy.
Star may not be returning for a fourth season, but Lee Daniels says there will be a fitting end for the series. On social media, the FOX series co-creator announced there is “something” planned to close out the TV show:

I hate to see it end but since it has to, either a 2hour special or even a mini series finale would be great!
With a good closure. not just leaving us in the dark…

I personally think that it should be a season four this is a good show and for it to end with a cliffhanger ending for the season finale we as fans will never know what happens to Star and Noah

Nothing has changed in this world every time we get strong African-American shows, with African-American leads they always get canceled. This was to expected. I appreciate the time that we had it and I pray that things get better for us they we are seen for are crafts without looking at our faces. Oh please! This is what is wrong with America! Has nothing to do with color, the write wants to concentrate on Empire. We have the same rights whites have. In fact there are more afarican Americans on television now more then ever! That’s a stupid comment we have come a long way as blacks!

I don’t understand why Star has to be cancelled? The show is a hit for all ages and nationalities. I was able to gossip at work and with friends about the show. If Empire can continue, why not Star? All good things go away. I watched this from day one. I’m hurt and disgusted about it. Give us 1 more season so we can feel better and like we at least get a closer!!!
Yes, I am a fan of Star. I want Star to get her baby back and stay with Noah. I Angel and Simone to have their own baby and let the newly weds go in their honey moon after they deal with the loss of the GrandMom.
Say it is true please! We fans deserve at least that! Thank you Mr . Daniels for understanding this. I know so many of us dedicated fans of the show appreciates it a lot. Love to the whole cast. Really sad to see my favorite show end, but I am happy that it with have some kind of closure, whether it’s another episode or just a written one. Either way, thank you for fighting for our favorite show and giving it an amazing cast!

Okay, as a fellow fan of the show from day 1, you need to calm down. Lee Daniel’s didn’t want the show to end any more than we did. He even pushed for Fox to renew it at the behest of fans, but Fox still said no. Lee didn’t close the show, the network did. Also, he doesn’t owe any of us fans anything.
