The Conners returns to ABC next month for its sixth season, and a new teaser shows a special guest star. Per TV Insider, Nick Offerman (Parks & Recreation) will appear in at least one episode of the comedy, and it appears that he’s playing an author.
Starring John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, and Jay R. Ferguson, The Conners follows Dan Conner and his children as they continue to deal with the everyday struggles of life in the small town of Lanford, Illinois.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Jayden Rey would not return as a series regular for season six. She plays the daughter of D.J. (Michael Fishman), who departed the series at the end of season four.
Best known as Parks & Recreation’s Ron Swanson, Offerman recently won the 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. He took home the trophy for his role as “Bill” in the third episode of HBO’s The Last of Us.
The Conners returns on February 7th.
