It was a very disappointing debut for this high-profile legal drama. In addition to the weak cumulative ratings, the early numbers indicated that many viewers tuned out as the two hour premiere progressed. Fewer people are expected to watch the next episode and The Firm already can’t afford to lose any viewers.
Compared to The Cape’s premiere one year earlier, the peacock network is down by 46% in the demo and 25% in total viewers. The Cape fell to a low 1.2 in the demo before being cancelled by NBC.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like The Firm TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FIRM!!!
why did they move it? I always watch the Thur line-up and I about barfed when they put a re-run of another show I could care less about in the 10pm slot. WTH is going on? I love Prime Suspect and love The Firm…I am a faithful NBC watcher and don’t subscribe to cable so when they start letting viewers like myself down, they are playing with fire! oooh, don’t I sound threatening? lol
This is a great show and my family doesn’t watch much tv but we make sure we watch each episode! It is riveting and we can’t wait to watch it each week. Please don’t cancel!!

I love the show. Please don’t cancel
We loved it. Very hard to find when they keep moving it around.
Far better than reality cr__p! You have to pay attention, perhaps too much for some of the viewers.
We love the show!!! One of the few good shows on television, I hope they give it a chance.
Love the show a lot….but you lose your audience when I never know when it’s going to come on. Hard to build a following without a set day & time. Give it that & some promotion & see what happens before you pull the plug.
I just started watching it, and really like it! Hope it stays around!!!
we love the firm! being that the airing day has changed twice, we have missed the show two weeks in a row. perhaps the ratings are low because nobody knows what night to tune in!
Good show a must for NBC
Better than some of the junk they have on TV now days
Down 38% in the latest episode? That’s beyond embarrassing. NBC has a few interesting pilots for next fall. Beautiful People, Frontier, Midnight Sun, Revolution, Notorious and Hannibal all have potential. I hope they pick the good pilots because they really need a win.
wonderful show hope ot doesn’t get canceled!!
I think its a wonderful show for a change. Hope it doesn’t get canceled!!
Oh come on. Don’t cancel one of the best shows on TV. The show has great characterization; wonderful actors and actresses and a fabulous storyline. What more do you want? It’s really sad that so many of us got sucked in to the return of Mitch McDeere and company, only to leave us hanging at: “Here we go again”? Please don’t cancel. The Firm is a much needed and fresh change from the other countless and mundane law scenerios. I rest my case.
