TV show description:
From creator Andy Breckman, The Good Cop TV show is a Netflix original, based on the Israeli show of the same name, created by Erez and Tomer Aviram. The comedy centers on former NYPD officer Tony Caruso Sr (Danza) aka “Big Tony,” and his son, Tony Jr (Groban), who goes by TJ.
Lovable Big Tony was never exactly a stickler for the rules and is a little lacking in the honor department. Meanwhile TJ, a current NYPD Brooklyn-based detective, is straight-laced. Despite being an updated “odd couple,” the two live together and wind up as unofficial partners.
Big Tony, of course, is quick to offer TJ advice. And while the younger man likes to play thing by the book, sometimes he needs and even heeds his father’s candid street-smarts.

Good Cop was the only reason I joined Netflix. If Good Cop will be cancelled, so will my membership! I literally have no interest in other shows and certainly not reason to continue paying for anything else.
Unfortunately for both, Netflix and myself, I will be closing my account!

Definitely continue this show. The cast is great and the writing makes this show fun to watch. Josh Grobin is perfect as TJ and who doesn’t love Tony Danza. Please do more seasons of this show.

We are really enjoying it.
This show is just delightful to watch! Josh Groban….who knew he can act as well as sing! Please DO NOT cancel!! It would be perfect if there was less swearing and sexual references, but in a world of immoral onslaught, this show is pretty tame. PLEASE keep it going! We both laughed more than a couple of times during each episode and we haven’t finished season one yet.
Because it was on Netflix, we did not have access to this program till about a month ago. My husband and I love it! It is too bad this program did not get the exposure to the television viewers that it deserved! This program is heads above so many of the either “dippy” or “violent” programs that continue to be on the networks. Please consider renewing this program!
