The Purge is happening! According to Bloody Disgusting, production has begun on the upcoming USA Network TV show.
Based on the film franchise, The Purge takes place in a society where murder and mayhem are legally allowed one day a year. The cast includes Gabriel Chavarria, Jessica Garza, Amanda Warren, and Colin Woodell.
USA Network has not announced a premiere date for The Purge yet, but it is expected to debut sometime this fall.

I can’t believe that this was even produced….are you nuts? Are you going to air this? Why would you give others this idea that they can pick a day and decide to eliminate people from this earth and do whatever they want? This is ludicrous? Whoever even thought of this plot is sick! Please cancel this series and burn it so it can never be viewed anywhere.
