Can these doctors fix the system in the fourth season of The Resident TV show on FOX? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Resident is cancelled or renewed for season five. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the fourth season episodes of The Resident here. *Status Update Below.
A FOX medical drama series, The Resident stars Matt Czuchry, Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal, Emily VanCamp, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Jane Leeves, and Morris Chestnut. The series follows a group of doctors at Chastain Memorial Hospital, as they face personal and professional challenges on a daily basis. Although its motto is, “Committed to excellence,” the hospital is staffed with human beings, and humans are flawed. In the fourth season, Chastain is transitioning from private to public hospital, causing the hero doctors to fight to fix the broken machine from the inside. The staff includes senior resident internist Conrad Hawkins (Czuchry), resident internist Devon Pravesh (Dayal), nurse practitioner Nicolette Nevin (VanCamp), surgical resident Mina Okafor (Wilson), cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. AJ Austin (Warner), orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Kit Voss (Leeves), neurosurgeon Dr. Barrett Cain (Chestnut), and CEO Dr. Randolph Bell (Greenwood).

I’ll rate The Resident EXCELLANT every time. It should not be cancelled either.
Resident is great.Give the show a chance.
I love The Resident. Please do a season 5
This should should be taken off air, it romanticizes a very dysfunctional abusive relationship! Nic is an emotionally abusive leech for most of the show and then suddenly the writers want the audience to believe she changed. Always Nic’s drama. Boring and sick of it.
One of the best!! KEEP!!!
Very fun show! Creative writing, wonderful actors and a story line that is different. KEEP THIS SHOW ALIVE!
The RESIDENT is GREAT, if I miss I hit my on Demand!!! Got to keep it going AWESOME the whole Crew>>>>
I agree with Ray
The resident is one of my favorite shows. I watched episode # 2 and was very disappointed at the end of the show race was brought up. This was between three black doctors, but I am getting tired of almost every TV show brings up the race card. I think always jamming this down our throats it brings up more resentment.
This show keeps getting better and better.
Credit them for not doing what others do, by getting political.
I like the Resident please don’t Cancel it
Please see my last comment. The Resident is Great, Fantastic, Informative (I’ve
checked the medical books.) and the actors are excellent as well as the story lines.
Home before Dark episode was so great….but for one one thing..and that is while during an intense surgery, there was really loud singing background music. So loud that my sister and I had to turn on closed caption so we could here the actors talking.
This was the most intence episode of the Resident. Holy cow! This show should NEVER be cancelled. It has never been a middle of the road. LOVE IT.
One of the best episodes yet!
Glad Nic and the baby are OK.
I love this show! It is a breath of fresh air compared to other medical drama’s. The characters are not sleeping around with everyone else on the show, which makes it more realistic. They focus on real couples issues and life events. Plus, the story lines regarding the business side is so close to reality it is not even funny. In real life there is always an arrogant “Dr. Cain” who may or may not change their A**hole ways. With doctors like “Dr. Bell” who change their ways due to some extreme life changing experiences. I just can not get… Read more »
