What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin Jr., Melissa O’Neil, and Eric Winter. The series follows the experiences of John Nolan (Fillion), a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania. He owns a construction company but decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy and becomes the oldest rookie on the force. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), training officers Angela Lopez (Diaz) and Tim Bradford (Winter), and fellow rookies Jackson West (Makin Jr.) and Lucy Chen (O’Neil). As season two begins, John is six months into his career as a cop and is put to the test by new challenges, romantic relationships, and potentially deadly situations.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of The Rookie averaged a 0.64 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.32 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 12% in the demo and up by 4% in viewers. Find out how The Rookie stacks up against other ABC TV shows.

they pushed the season premiere off for a nothing show, forcing it to start possibly as late as early 2021. sofaking stupid execs!
the network suits pulled this shiot with elementary as well, and pretty much kept it from ever gaining its feet- so sick of the networks pulling this crap. you deserve to lode put to twitch and youtube influencers.

We enjoy the Rookie and are waiting impatiently for the return of season 3
The first episode was fun, so I watched #2, then #3 and was hooked. My husband kept peeking at the TV, but claimed he wasn’t watching. By the end of the season he hooked! It’s a fun show to watch with a good balance of fun, seriousness, camaraderie. Please keep The Rookie on!
I love this show! Nathan Fillion is one of my favorite actors.
This is one of my favorite shows on TV. What does this have to do with Black Lives Matter?? This is getting totally out of control. Even “Paw Patrol” (the popular cartoon) was canceled. My grandson is heartbroken! None of this makes any sense at all. I’m all for human rights and know a great deal needs to be changed in this society, but canceling popular TV shows is absurd!
