Have you seen the trailers for the upcoming sixth season of Once Upon a Time from ABC? The first features Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) and Jafar (Oded Fehr), in the first episode of season six, “The Savior,” which premieres on ABC Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Once Upon a Time stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Jared Gilmore, Rebecca Mader, and Robert Carlyle.
The second trailer focuses on Regina (Parrilla) and her days as the Evil Queen. Regina went to great lengths to leave her past behind in the season five finale, to no avail. She will have to confront her dark side in the sixth season. If you watched season five, you know exactly what I mean. Watch both trailers, below. Spoilers ahoy, right after the trailers.

Watch “The Queen Is Back!”
In the season five finale, “An Untold Story,” Regina split off the evil half of herself in an attempt to eliminate it. In truth, all she did was release the Evil Queen, who is now no longer restrained by Regina’s better angels (three words I never thought I would string together when writing about Once).
ABC teases, “Regina is quickly learning that destroying her dark side won’t be that easy, especially when dealing with the consequences of having unleashed the Queen on Storybrooke.”
Also coming up, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) learns what the network says will be “…a life-altering secret that could have serious consequences for her family and loved ones.”
The White Hats will have to deal with whatever that secret is Emma has to face. Meanwhile, expect Henry to help the people from the Land of Untold Stories, by trying to help them finish their tales. He is the author, remember.
It won’t be easy. ABC says, “When Snow White, Prince Charming, Regina, Captain Hook and Zelena become entwined in these untold tales, they find themselves haunted by their own unfinished pasts.”
Also, Gold (Carlyle), who has left Storybrook to Mr. Hyde, continues to try to save Belle (de Ravin) and their unborn child from the sleeping curse.
According to the network, “This season our heroes will be met with many surprises, including Aladdin, a former Savior who may be able to offer Emma just the help she needs, Jafar, Princess Jasmine (Karin David), the Count of Monte Cristo (Craig Horner) and Morpheus (Giles Matthey).”
Creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have said in season six, Once Upon a Time will go back to basics and focus more on small town stories.
