What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on Hallmark Channel, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Jack Wagner, Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Chris McNally, Kevin McGarry, Martin Cummins, Paul Greene, Andrea Brooks, Eva Bourne, Kayla Wallace, and Aren Buchholz. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the TV series follows Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. She’s assigned to teach in a coal country classroom and its a life-changing experience. Now a widow and single mother, Elizabeth faces new challenges but has the support of her surrogate town family, including newcomers Lucas Bouchard (McNally), a mysterious gambler, and Mountie Nathan Grant (McGarry).
Season Seven Ratings

My husband and I do not watch many TV shows, but we love the cleanness and moral examples of When Calls the Heart and look forward to seeing it again soon. It would probably have a much higher rating if it stayed on instead of running for 3 or 4 months, then leaving for 8 or 9 months before coming back again. Basically, it’s too hard to find , but worth the wait.

Why can’t all Hallmark be shown on the original Hallmark channel? Instead of having to subscribe to the Hallmark Now channel?
I feel that this show is doing well even if Lori Laughlin does not come back. Lots of good characters to enjoy. Loved the Xmas show recently. Waiting to see what is next in February.

I hope When Calls the Heart renews for an 8th season. It’s a wonderful show and despite the changes that has taken place it’s still an amazing show.
I pray they continue on with this show I just love it. It’s a shame Lori M. Can not remain but they could replace her with another actress. In fact why can’t when calls the heart and Hope valley combine. They are all there in hope valley anyway right. I love both shows
It’s unfortunate that Hallmark has decided to add a channel that isn’t free. Cable television is already expensive enough. For me if programming isn’t free I’m unable to watch. Fixed incomes have priorities.
I would love to see Season 8 of When Calls the Heart. I would hate to see it cancelled.

I love When Calls The Heart. If I can’t watch it at the airing time, I tape in. It’s a clean family series that the whole family can watch.
