A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

I really enjoyed this show. I am SO tired of investing my time on a show and then it gets canceled. I hope that this show finds a new home.

I love this show so much!! It’s fun and a refreshing change and reminds me of the days when we had Remington Steele and Scarecrow and Mrs King! I hope it can find another home and we can continue to enjoy it! So much better than The Rookie
Yes, I absolutely would watch the next season. Yes, c’mon Netflix, NBC, someone – pick it up!! Scott Foley is charming, and the cast has a good chemistry with each other, with endearing characters.

I really enjoyed this show. Funny, clever, good plots, great locales. Too too bad. I hope they change their mind or find another network. A good show. They never gave it a chance.

Hello NETFLIX. We’ll love you forever if you pick up WHISKEY CAVALIER for season 2. We have very good taste in tv shows as evidenced by the fact that this is the only show cancelled in many many years that was one of our top favorites. Very few shows that we watch (even the just ‘okay’ ones) have been cancelled in many years (some did appropriately reach their conclusion time). Only exception is HOMELAND (SHOWTIME) which we feel should continue for several more seasons (its upcoming season is its final season).
I really liked this show – had to DVR because of the late airing time. Hope it is picked up.

I loved this show. Aggravated that 3 million people isn’t enough. I will be watching the other channel when it gets picked up, just like Nashville and One Man Standing!!
