A musical dramedy series, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist revolves around an introverted computer programmer who begins to hear the innermost desires of the people around her through song.
Zoey Clarke (Levy) is a whip-smart computer coder who’s finding her way in San Francisco. After an unusual event, Zoey, who always preferred podcasts over pop songs, suddenly starts to hear the innermost wants, thoughts, and desires of the people around her – her family, co-workers, and complete strangers – through popular songs.
At first, Zoey questions her sanity. But, after getting some guidance from her musically adept neighbor, Mo (Newell), and making a breakthrough with her ailing father (Gallagher), Zoey realizes this unwanted curse may just be an incredibly wonderful gift that allows her to connect with the world like never before. If there’s a song in your heart, it will get in her head.

I love this show and my husband watched it and loves it now too. It is our guilty pleasure. We love the songs and dancing. I cannot believe the voice and movement from the Simon actor and have loved the actor that plays Max from the very first Pitch Perfect. Please dont cancel wonderful actors, music, storylines show period.

We absolutely love this warm, funny, and heartwarming show. We also love Perfect Harmony but read it was cancelled along with Zoey? Is NBC as out of touch with their viewers as ABC? If they cancel both of these shows it’s unlikely will ever give an NBC show a chance as it stinks when they are bounced.
I love his show! It’s so different from anything else on tv! I would be super disappointed if it wasn’t continued!
This is one of the most entertaining and uplifting shows in recent memory. The Networks wonder why people go to Netflix, Hulu and other cable and satellite stations this is a great show that was not given a chance for acceptance by the public.
This is my favorite show on TV currently. Unfortunately, my second favorite show, God Friended Me, just got canceled. If seems that all interesting, quality shows that have heart and a deeper meaning don’t make it in the face of fake (series) or real (crime documentaries) crime dramas or straight out mindless comedies. I hope this gem doesn’t also get added.
