The actress recently played Victoria Grayson, on Revenge, which was cancelled by ABC after four seasons, in 2015.

Based on the 1995 film directed by Terry Gilliam, 12 Monkeys features a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future, on a mission to eradicate the source of a lethal plague. 12 Monkeys stars: Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull, Noah Bean, and Kirk Acevedo. The cast also includes Tom Noonan and Emily Hampshire.

In this science-fiction action adventure drama, which set, in part, in the year 2043, a virus has wiped out most of the earth’s population. James Cole (Aaron Stanford), must travel through time, to 2015, to stop the virus before it starts.

Having survived the plague, then living for years as a scavenger, Cole is a physical force with which to be reckoned. That said, his wits are the sharpest weapon in his arsenal. Cole is impulsive, audacious, and courageous to a fault.

Although he came into his own, when the very fabric of society was disintegrating, Cole is a man of conscience. As a “Scav,” he once put his own survival first. Now, he cannot forget what he has done or forgive himself for it. Cole sets out to fix the present by traveling to the past. He desperately wants to save billions of lives, and a chance at redemption.
