What do you think of Laszlo Kreizler’s methods in the first season of The Alienist TV show on TNT? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like the TV show The Alienist is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of The Alienist season one episodes here.
A TNT mystery series, The Alienist stars Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans, Dakota Fanning, Brian Geraghty, Douglas Smith, Matthew Shear, Matt Lintz, Robert Ray Wisdom, and Q’orianka Kilcher. Set in 1896 in New York City, the Gilded Age drama centers on Laszlo Kreizler (Brühl), an alienist, i.e. a criminal psychologist. When a ritualistic serial killer starts targeting boy prostitutes, Police Commissioner Teddy Roosevelt (Geraghty) drafts Kreizler to head up his secret investigation into the murders.

I work with Autistic Children using Applied Behavior Analysis and working on my BCBA. I loved the show and it intrigued me to study the history of behavior analysis further. I would love to see a second season. The cast was fanomial!

I finally found a show that keeps me glued to the TV. It’s wonderful cast great storyline please don’t take it off the air ! There’s nothing like this on TV.

Please renew, the only show I made a point to watch every week. I love Kreisler’s character. Loved the entire investigation group. Their performance really captured my attention. Wish Mary was not killed. Dr. Kreisler’s life very depressing… seemed like her character would have fit in his life well.
Fantastic series… also wish Mary could have stayed on… hey, could that be a dream sequence? Hope for Season 2.
Please bring this series back for another season. Truly kept me on the edge of my seat. However, the graphic love scenes could be toned down.
It seems every time I get interested in a show it gets cancelled. I loved Major Crimes but this although dark keeps my interest. I really like it and hope it does not get cancelled.
I did not want series to end. It was awesome. It definitely can be a season 2! Please please and pretty!

Looking forward to Series #2. Bring it back!!! Great background of lower Manhattan in 1896. Love the clothing; men looked so handsome and dashing back then. This show got better as it went on. Very interesting drama incorporating historical and fictional. Director and producer well done!!! I am a history buff so I loved the attention to detail. Sad about Kreizler’s girlfriend she was a good character. Happy the fired cop got shot–he was annoying as hell.
I loved this show. It was addictive couldn’t wait to see what happens next. I really hope they have a season 2 and much more to come. I also want to see if Moore and Sarah end up together as well. I really love the story line. Please let there be more seasons to come.
I read the book as well and did enjoy the series. Hope it is brought back for the Edge of darkness book. Great acting by all period, attire & sets… Rate it a 10
