Can this trio prevent others from being hurt in the first season of the Big Sky TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Big Sky is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. An ABC thriller drama that’s based on a series of books by C.J. Box, the Big Sky TV series stars Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury, Brian Geraghty, Dedee Pfeiffer, Natalie Alyn Lind, Jade Pettyjohn, Jesse James Keitel, Valerie Mahaffey, John Carroll Lynch, and Ryan Phillippe. The story begins with Danielle Sullivan (Lind) and her sister Grace (Pettyjohn) on a road trip to visit Danielle’s boyfriend. The two are kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote part of a Montana highway. This sets off a chain of events that leads private detectives Cody Hoyt (Phillippe) and Cassie Dewell (Bunbury) to join forces with Jenny Hoyt (Winnick), Cody’s estranged wife and an ex-cop, to search for the sisters. When the trio discovers that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, it becomes clear that they’ve stumbled onto something that’s much bigger than they could have imagined.

Please renew Big Sky. I haven’t been this hooked on a show for years! Every single episode is top-notch and I never know where it’s going to go. Just when I think the storyline can’t get better, it does. This is the one and only tv show that I am following and I just can’t wait for next season.
Best show on TV! Wild, crazy, fantastic! Keep this going, get rid of the junk and expand this!

I just marathoned the first 5 episodes of “Big Sky” and I loved it. Great premise and story line, and of course, Montana is beautiful. I’m looking forward to the shows second half beginning in late January. This is a Great show and I will continue to watch it as long as it’s available. It should definitely be renewed!

In a continuation of my comment, the show definitely has some logic flaws, but that’s often the case in drama series when the action needs to move in a certain direction. I’m reminded of when the younger sister’s character has been built as intelligent and wise, then when she escapes, she conveniently and stupidly leaves her boot in the exact spot where she leaves the road, which eventually leads to her being captured. Love this show
I like it, will watch when it returns whenever next year. Like some shows, however, there were some notable flaws and “huhs?” Poor Cody (but did not see his demise coming). When the teens left Colorful Colorado, they were obviously not headed to Montana (Kansas?). And instead of following the tracker the first night Cassie and Jenny went off into nowhere land at the truck stop where I guess the important thing was to prove Jenny can beat up a trucker? I know, nitpicking but these are the kinds of things that make me leave a series.
Bring it back! Bring season 2!
