NBC licensed the first season of Crossing Lines and aired it during the summer of 2013. It didn’t perform well in the ratings so the network cancelled the show. However, it was a success in other international markets so a second season was produced.
First season regulars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Tom Wlaschiha, Gabriella Pession and Richard Flood returned, along with Lara Rossi, who was introduced late in the first season. Guest stars for the season include Carrie-Anne Moss and Ray Stevenson.
While season two of Crossing Lines was aired in various countries around the world, it wasn’t available to viewers in the United States — until now. Netflix, which was already streaming the first season, has now begun streaming the second season as well. They also offer both seasons on DVD.
There’s no word yet on whether season three will be produced. However, considering that season two was ordered all the way back in August 2013, a third season doesn’t look likely.
What do you think? Do you like the Crossing Lines TV show? Would you watch a third season?
Season 2 was a disappointment to me. I did not feel the stores were written as well as season 1 and I really loved Marc Lavoine as head of the team. I understand that William Fichtner, Gabriella Pession & Richard Flood will not be returning to the show. I now have no reason to watch the third season. But the idea of actors from other countries was a wonderful idea. I only wish they would have let each use their own language more and we would have to read sub-titles a bit more. It would have given the show more… Read more »
We have just finished season 1 of Crossing Lines on Netflix. We want season 2 then 3.
Please
I love the show and would watch a third season – especially after the way the season two finale left viewers hanging – the major dead and and something unknown but not good happening to Eva. Please bring it back for a third season. It’s too good a show to cancel, an antidote to all the silly reality shows.
I am hooked on this show and would love to see season 3!
I watch all of the season 1 and 2 and loved it but for the ending. I would love to watch season 3. season 2 has been left in the air a bit but I would enjoy very much a 3 season.
I would like to see this show come back. It deviates from the normal cop shows which I am a little tired of right now. If I can’t have any more Jack Bauer this may take his place.
Yes I love this show.
Although this show didn’t catch on in the home market, we on the other side of the pond love this series! Put up a season 3 and it will sell!!
I just discovered crossing lines on Netflix, season 2. It was outstanding and look forward to a third season for this awesome show. Keep this show on the.air.
I like crossing lines and hope it continues.
Yes! I would definitely watch a third season!! Bring it on!!
There is nothing else like it!
I loved the show when it first aired a couple of years ago. I was disappointed when they did not air the show again in the states. I watch the show on Netflix. Hopefully season 3 will be produced.
I am hooked, I would watch a third and forth, retired officer 29 + years on the job, great show.
Love the sbow! Different perspective . Neat concept.
I would absolutely watch a 3rd season. Love this show!
Would most definitely watch a 3rd season. Hickman should be made head of the team now that Louie has been killed. The locations are great – every body speaks English with a different accent which makes it interesting. The stories are plausible with no gratuitous violence but enough to make the episodes gritty and realistic.
