The investigators won’t return to their jobs for the 2024-25 television season. CSI: Vegas has been cancelled, so CBS won’t be airing a fourth season.
A police procedural series, the CSI: Vegas TV show stars Paula Newsome, Marg Helgenberger, Matt Lauria, Mandeep Dhillon, Ariana Guerra, Lex Medlin, and Jay Lee. Reggie Lee recurs. Amidst the neon lights and long shadows, dark threats lurk in Sin City. Maxine Roby (Newsome) leads her team of brilliant Crime Scene Investigators as they use science to solve baffling cases. Working together are veteran Catherine Willows (Helgenberger), Level II CSI Allie Rajan (Dhillon), homicide detective Serena Chavez (Guerra), CSI Christopher Park (Jay Lee), and Level I CSI Beau Finado (Medlin). These professionals deploy the latest forensic techniques to do what they do best — follow the evidence — to preserve and serve justice. In season three, they work to uncover who framed their comrade, Level III CSI Josh Folsom (Lauria), for the gruesome murder of Kahn Schefter, the man responsible for killing Folsom’s mother.
Airing on Sunday nights, the third season of CSI: Vegas averages a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.30 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s up by 3% in the demo and up by 29% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (includes DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
CSI: Vegas and So Help Me Todd (which was also cancelled today) are the network’s lowest-rated original scripted series in the traditional ratings. In the live+35-day multi-platform ratings, episodes typically draw more than seven million viewers.
CSI: Vegas’ abbreviated third season (due to the industry strikes of 2023) is currently airing and the de facto series finale is expected to end on May 19th.
What do you think? Have you kept up with this CBS series? Are you disappointed CSI: Vegas has been cancelled instead of renewed for a fourth season?
With CSI Vegas and so help me, Todd are excellent shows that are not being given a chance to grow legs. This is one reason why many of us are moving from traditional network TV to reaming.
It’s OK but the characters are a little weak.
I liked the old NCSI cast much better than the new people. No wonder it’s being canceled.

I hate that they are cancelling CSI Vegas. Grant it I’m not in the coveted 18-49 group, but we spend on things too. Verydissappointed.
CBS, please give back CSI Vegas for once.
Stop cancelling the good shows . Cancel tbe stupid reality shows. I watch those when I drive
Reality shows and sports are cheaper to produce 🙁
I should have known CBS you will put on a GOLF or other sports show and it runs over you cancel the show after it but you cancel CSI: Vegas that I have watched when it was just CSI ?? You always ditch the good shows and show programs that are not worth watching so WHY CANCEL CSI: Vegas ???
Should not take CSI: Vagas off!
You can cancel the sport. CSI: Vegas has a healthy following same as SWAT but you cannot make your mind up.
Hope you have something to replace it because your figures are zero for Sunday now.
Increased ratings now means cancellation of a smart intelligent series cbs ?
When an ex cancels a show that improves in the ratings, it begs the question why it was renewed in the first place. That sounds like poor management — especially with this year not announced as a final season.
Up by 29% in viewership and still cancelled? That doesn’t make much sense.
It’s one of CBS’ lower rated shows on Sunday because of its late slot. Additionally, no show on CBS Sunday night can expect to do well when they are always starting outside their timeslots because of one show and sporting events earlier in the day. It a shame for some shows that people really like, like CSI:Vegas.
Sunday has been a ratings desert since Touched by an Angel left.
I’m disappointed and shocked. I thought it was doing so well you screwed up for the second year in a row CBS you also canceled East New York, which shouldn’t have been canceled
Not again CBS!!!!!! CSI Vegas was so good & always watched it since it premiered, big mistake & keep most of them & doesn’t matter of viewers, come on now….
