Gilmore Girls is returning to Netflix later this year, and there are new teasers for the revival now being shared by a member of the cast. Yanic Truesdale shared some details about Michel with Us Magazine in a recent interview, and fans will definitely learn more about the character during the revival.

Truesdale revealed that he will have more of a backstory, and it is something he enjoyed finally having as an actor. He said the following:

“We kind of haven’t seen Michel outside of work, really. I think very rarely he was outside of the inn. And we didn’t know much about his personal life. So this time is different. We know much more. That is nice for me as an actor because it gives me a backstory, but it gives me meat for the character because he, you know, I definitely have an arc and stuff going on in my personal life that affect the character. So the fans can expect to discover more about Michel.”

However, the actor was coy when asked if that meant his character would have a romantic storyline during the revival. He would not answer that question.
