What’s This TV Show About?
A Netflix comedy police procedural, The Good Cop stars Tony Danza, Josh Groban, Monica Barbaro, Isiah Whitlock Jr, and Bill Kottkamp. The series follows former NYPD officer Tony Caruso Sr (Danza) aka “Big Tony,” and his son, Tony Jr (Groban), who goes by TJ. By-the-book TJ is a current NYPD Brooklyn-based detective, while Big Tony was never too fond of the rules. Now they live together, and sometimes work as unofficial partners, while dear old dad tries to teach his conscientious kid some street smarts.
The Good Cop has been cancelled so there won’t be a second season. Stay tuned for further updates.

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew The Good Cop for season two. The Good Cop is an excellent series.. for a change is fun and lighter to watch!
Most unfortunate it has not been renewed!!
I found the show entertaining. With several stories intertwined, glues you to show. Writers for this show were outstanding. Also, you cannot leave the audience with no closure. Maybe resolving the murder of his wife, could be redeeming gesture for Big Tony.
Finally a good show and they cancel it? That’s ridiculous.
Tony Danza was outstanding. All actors were good. writing was good. I think Netflix has been listening to the wrong people. Or something political going on behind the scenes.
