What’s This TV Show About?
A Dick Wolf NBC legal drama, Law & Order: SVU stars Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Kelli Giddish, Peter Scanavino, and Philip Winchester. The police procedural centers on Lt. Olivia Benson (Hargitay) and her elite squad of New York City Police Department detectives who investigate crimes including sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence.

Will NBC cancel or renew Law & Order: SVU for season 21? The ratings are still pretty good for an NBC series in today’s landscape. I think it is likely to be renewed for season 21, unless the team decides to end the show, or there’s a disagreement on money. I must admit I was distraught when Stabler left the show and found it difficult to watch for a bit but I have grown to love all the characters. Olivia Benson has so much respect by me. It would be absolutely amazing to be a walk on or even profiled on an episode as so much of many of the stories relate to my own life. I adore every character. I have been watching Law & Order now for 20 seasons since the very first show and have never missed an episode to this day. I sure hope it does not get cancelled as it is a great show!

Law and Oder SVU is by far the best police drama on TV next to Chicago PD , it has never disappointed in viewing and ready for season 21. Keep up the great work, Thank you.
Law and Order SVU is one of my favorite shows. Looked for it tonight. Hope they do not cancel it. It is about the only show that I watch on NBC.
I have watched Law and Order SVU faithfully, since day 1 (every Thursday @ 10pm) and even watch the re-runs. It deals with many current issues happening in and around us, and things like sexual abuse and having a voice to speak out and tell someone….it is an amazing show and I seriously hope there will be a season #21. May God bless each of the actors/actresses, directors, camera men&women and everyone who takes part in this great show. I am looking forward to another season of it. P.S. SVU inspires so many survivors of abuse. In an age where all shows have become a vapid wasteland, SVU is continually the best show on TV. It is relevant, relatable, dramatic, well-done and whether you agree with content week to week, the show adds value to our entertainment society landscape. It would be a tragedy to lose this valuable show.

This show, SVU, is a must for season 21. I have watched it since day one and as a survivor of sexual assault by a family member as a child, it has helped me so much to deal with the trauma I suffered. My kitty, Olivia Benson, never miss an episode.
I love love love Law & order SVU I have watched all the episodes & I even watch the reruns & marathons that USA & ion do. If they were to cancel SVU I believe NBc would lose alot of viewers quite a while. This TV show can’t compare to other TV shows that have a dumb story line or most of the other TV shows make most of the actors character so stupid and act all ditsy like that’s not how it should be. Please KEEP IT GOING…It’s like “family” now and it’s one of the few last WELL WRITTEN and non- dumbed shows on network TV. I’m a 43 year old man (who thinks I’m 21 OR 12 in my mind) and I’ve loved this show since it 1st aired in 1999. Olivia Benson and Ice-T are like family in a strange but great way and…I WANT THEM TO STAY ON! Have any other long time viewers ever tried to watch NCIS? I agree alot of the new shows that come out have characters that act stupid, lack common sense & ditsy and they only last 1 to 3 seasons and end up being cancelled other TV producers & writers need to grab a pen & pencil and take notes from SVU on how to make a 20 year long running tv show . Other shows are just beating a tree to move and nothing changes.. idk why tv writers think it’s cool to have actors play ditsy “dumb blonde” type of way .
