Looking was cancelled by HBO, but fans will not be left hanging with the plot. When the series was cancelled after its second season, it was announced that the series’ plot would be wrapped up with a movie on HBO. Jonathan Groff and his cast mates are now ready to start production on the film.
The SFist shared the news about the cast heading back to San Francisco earlier this week. Russell Tovey shared a photo of the title page of the film script on his Twitter. The script says that the film is being subtitled “Looking for an ending.”

The start date for production appears to be around October 27. That is when Jonathan Groff is set to take a break from his Broadway production. His break is from October 27 through November 29. That means the cast has a month to make this movie a reality.
