What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix television network, Lost in Space is a remake of the 1965 Irwin Allen classic TV series and stars Parker Posey, Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, Taylor Russell, Mina Sundwall, Maxwell Jenkins, Ignacio Serricchio, Brian Steele, and Sibongile Mlambo. The sci-fi drama centers on space colonists John (Stephens) and Maureen (Parker) Robinson, their children, Judy (Russell), Penny (Sundwall), and Will (Jenkins), good-hearted smuggler Don West (Serricchio), and stowaway Dr. Smith (Posey). When their Jupiter 2 spaceship veers lightyears off course, they crash-land on an unknown planet. Surrounded by hidden dangers, they meet Robot (Steele) and fight against all odds to survive and escape.
Lost in Space has been renewed for a third and final season which will debut on December 1, 2021. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew Lost in Space for season three. Since Netflix isn’t ad-supported, it can take a chance on series it believes in. However, sooner or later it comes down to production costs, versus viewership numbers. Lost in Space is one of their high-profile series but it’s concerning that there was a 20-month gap between seasons one and two. I’m still leaning toward a renewal but wouldn’t be surprised if it was cancelled instead. Generally speaking, Netflix TV shows which are going to be renewed are usually picked up within a month or so of a season premiere. I’ll keep my ears open and an eye out for news, and will update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on Lost in Space cancellation or renewal news.

The show needs to be renewed
Kids might like it, but Lost in Space makes cruddy viewing for adults – especially now with Series Two. The CGI is fun but every episode is riddled with plot holes and sloppy writing. The Robinson family are well-cast but Dr Smith is awful and – excuse me, but where exactly is the “Lost in SPACE” because hardly *any* of this series takes place in..er.. space!
My bet is No – it won’t be renewed.
Netflix should regroup their Sci-Fi budget and re-assess the intelligence of their audience instead of spending more money on rubbish like this.
Just finished watching Lost in Space, Season 2 and loved it. Liked Season 1 but this was twice as good. Please don’t cancel!
I was so excited to find there were new episode’s ( season2) of this show!! Binge watched it in one night. Absolutely love this show. Please renew it for many seasons. Theme song takes me back to the original series.

I believe this Lost In Space is one of the best shows on Netflix and I am hopeful that there will be future seasons.
I just watched season 2 yesterday and loved it. This isn’t the 60s campy version but a truly relatable and well written series. Character development is superb. Please don’t cancel!

My daughter and I spent Xmas Eve binge watching season 2. It was fantastic. The cliffhanger was amazing. We have to find out what happens.
Lost in Space is fantastic, as much as I hated the long wait between seasons it was well worth it and I’d wait again. If you want to change anything about the show add more episodes to the upcoming seasons.

We want to cancel 2019’s Lost In Space for good. Identity politics, multiculturalism, including anti-white racism, political correctness and SJW destroyed the classic 1960’s Lost In Space and the Robinson family. Leftist Hollywood had gone into the insanity of the propaganda to brainwash people into debilitated and distorted minds. Cancel 2019’s Lost In Space Season 3 now. Get rid of leftist ideological junk of SJW running Hollywood media!

There are too many GOOD programmes being cancelled, leaving the viewer with few good choices and reality TV. If providers want the public’s money they should provide a good mix of viewing not just pander to what viewing stats indicate. DO NOT CANCEL LOST IN SPACE SEASON 3
