Monica Bellucci is headed to the jungle. Mozart in the Jungle that is. Deadline reports the actress has been cast in season three of the Amazon series.

The music dramedy stars Gael Garcia Bernal as an innovative conductor who takes over the New York Symphony. Lola Kirke, Bernadette Peters, and Malcom McDowell also star.

In season three, Bellucci will play “Alessandra, an iconic opera star who will become Rodrigo’s (Bernal) next great collaborator. Alessandra is as famous for her passionate performances as she is for her erratic life off the stage. After years away from the spotlight, she enlists Rodrigo to conduct her grand return performance.”
