Prison Break has its big return date set, but the series is missing one thing – an entire episode. The revival will air nine episodes later this spring, but the series order was originally for 10 episodes.
What happened to episode 10 of the FOX revival?
Paul T. Scheuring, the executive producer of the series, revealed at the TCA’s earlier this week that it was scheduling that caused a problem. Both Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell were busy filming their new series – DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. That caused the episode count to be shortened.
Per TV Line, he said that, “I’d written a very long-winded road map for the 10 episodes. We just didn’t have enough time for 10 hours, so we conflated two of those episodes into one.”

I watched season 5. The story was to cramped in 9 episodes. There is more to tell. So maybe a movie could tell a satisfying end. Alot of series were turned into a movie. MASH, SEX IN THE CITY, just a view to mention. So maybe Mr Paul Schering just think about it. You are s good story teller,and maybe Went can help you with the writing. 2 heads are better then one,. Especially with the talent that both of you possess.

I think this episode order reduction is an indication that the storylines they were doing for the “Prison Break” revival would not have been long enough to fill the entire 10-episode order.

I can’t wait for it! I can’t afford cable so I will not be able to see it until it hits Netflix. I wish they would put them on tv and Netflix at the same time. But still can’t wait. #wentworthmiller
