What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, the Rebel TV show is inspired by the current life of activist Erin Brockovich and stars Katey Sagal, John Corbett, James Lesure, Lex Scott Davis, Tamala Jones, Ariela Barer, Kevin Zegers, Sam Palladio, and Andy Garcia. Annie “Rebel” Bello (Sagal) is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, brilliant, and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies herself to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost.

Telly’s Take
Will ABC cancel or renew Rebel for season two? ABC could use some new drama series and they gave it a plum timeslot, behind top-rated drama Grey’s Anatomy. However, the show doesn’t hold onto many of those viewers. My suspicion is that ABC will renew it but the numbers will have to improve in season two for it to keep going. I’m SO tired of giving new shows a chance and becoming a fan only to be disappointed by a cancelation after only 1 season. I don’t understand how the “Mindless” Bachelor can get season after season and an entertaining show with real actors like Rebel can get canceled. It’s all just disgusting and disappointing!
Ditto and kudos friend. I just don’t understand how ABC has kept the bachelor or Bachelorette on this long. Mindless on all levels.

I was paying attention to Rebel for weeks ahead of the first show and I look forward to Fridays to see another show. I do hope this show isn’t cancelled. The actors work well together; the story line is contemporary. Please advertise it move and please consider Rebel for another season!
I was shocked when I heard Rebel will be cancelled. I absolutely LOVE this show!! I love the characters, I love the story line and the acting is phenomenal!!!
Compared to some of the other shows put out by the networks this one has meaning and substance.
I do hope the network changes its mind and continues on for many seasons!!!

Please reconsider renewing Rebel. We need a little humor while addressing important issues. I love the show.
I am really enjoying this series and saddened that it has been cancelled! I was looking forward to the developing story line. I guess who will have to be disappointed again.
This is a great show with a great cast. It didn’t really get a chance since they canceled it after 4 episodes. Maybe wait awhile longer to give it a chance. Plus it’s a show about helping people.
Great show, great cast – what is wrong ABC what a terrible network decision. Let it go 2 seasons and see the results then.
