What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, the Rebel TV show is inspired by the current life of activist Erin Brockovich and stars Katey Sagal, John Corbett, James Lesure, Lex Scott Davis, Tamala Jones, Ariela Barer, Kevin Zegers, Sam Palladio, and Andy Garcia. Annie “Rebel” Bello (Sagal) is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, brilliant, and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies herself to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost.

Telly’s Take
Will ABC cancel or renew Rebel for season two? ABC could use some new drama series and they gave it a plum timeslot, behind top-rated drama Grey’s Anatomy. However, the show doesn’t hold onto many of those viewers. My suspicion is that ABC will renew it but the numbers will have to improve in season two for it to keep going. Please don’t cancel this show, Rebel is one of the best tv shows I have seen in a very long time. Stop cancelling all the good shows, cancel some of the crappy reality ones. I love this program,everytime I find a really great tv show, it gets canceled after one season. You networks need to give shows a chance. One season doesn’t seem like your doing that.

Just finished the 1st season. Great series! Can’t believe it was canceled. Broken families, corrupt large companies, constant human mistakes, middle aged woman fighting for good… all relatable in today’s world. It’s nice to see good wins. Hope the cancellation is reconsidered as the case was so entertaining with relatable characteristics.
This was a very entertaining and fresh show. Even my husband liked it. I hope they look at it again for Season 2

This was one of the best shows. Finally, an intelligent drama based on heart, action, caring for others.
It’s unfortunate that Rebel was cancelled, maybe the time slot could be a lot earlier, so more people can watch it. It is one of my favorite show to watch. Anything that involves a quest for justice and saving lives deserves another season. Maybe another station can take over ownership of the show, because we want the show to continue.

ABC exec wouldn’t know a great show if it bit him in the rear. Canceling Rebel is a hugh mistake. CBS should pick it up since they know what a great show looks like and they would not have canceled after 5 great episodes. A second season would have given the show a decent episode count. 5 episodes should not even count as a season. Shame on ABC.
Rebel was one of the best series have seen in quite a while. This would be a shame to see this quality show cancelled. The decision for the cancellation shoud question the competence of those making this decision.
I don’t watch much TV. Most shows are a waste of time. Rebel, however, held my interest from the start. Great cast and edge-of-seat story line kept me coming back for more. Canceling this show is a big mistake.
Rebel is a top notch show with amazing, diverse cast- with great storylines to boot- it’s fun, it’s dramatic, it’s messy- it’s life. It is an absolute shame that this diamond of a show is being cancelled. Another platform- ahem @HBOMAX or @NETFLIX this WILL BE your next big hit if you are smart to pick it up from ABC. This is hands down my favorite TV show. If you haven’t seen it- check it out- there’s something in it for everyone.
