What do you do with TV shows that few people watched? Rerun them during the summer, of course. Few people saw Shedding for the Wedding and Plain Jane so the network’s giving them a second chance.
Shedding for the Wedding ran during the season and has been cancelled. Plain Jane ran last summer and, though additional episodes are being produced for overseas, according to Futon Critic, The CW is just rerunning last summer’s installments.

— SHEDDING FOR THE WEDDING will air in the 9:00-10:00 p.m. timeslot.· On THURSDAY, JULY 21:
— PLAIN JANE will air in the 9:00-10:00 p.m. timeslot.· On FRIDAY, JULY 22:
— NIKITA moves to the 8:00-9:00 p.m. timeslot.

Looking at the CW’s schedule, I can understand why Shedding for the Wedding had low ratings. Most of the shows look like they are designed for tween and young teen girls, and what tween or young teen girl needs a show about getting in shape for a wedding? Just looking at the picture of the contestants, I can’t imagine that any of them are young enough to watch the CW shows.
