What’s This TV Show About?
An CBS action-adventure drama, SWAT stars Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Peter Onorati, David Lim, and Patrick St. Esprit. The crime thriller centers on Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Moore). A lifetime Los Angeles local and former Marine, Hondo has been tapped to lead a new “last stop” Special Weapons and Tactics unit. Thanks to his background, he is uniquely qualified to lead the team in a manner that also builds a bridge to the community he holds so dear. Hondo’s group includes the seasoned David “Deacon” Kay (Harrington), newcomer Jim Street (Russell), and canine trainer Christina “Chris” Alonso (Esco). They work under the supervision of L.A. Metro Captain Jessica Cortez (Sigman), a dedicated professional who also has a personal connection to Hondo. Meanwhile, Mumford (Onorati) leads a rival unit.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of SWAT averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.30 million viewers. Compared to season one, it is down by 17% and 10%, respectively. Find out how SWAT stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew SWAT for season three? The ratings aren’t great but they’ve been pretty consistent. CBS needs newer dramas to help fill their schedule so I think it will be renewed. Renew SWAT!!!!!! It’s a great show. Don’t be interruptung it so much for “specials”, making ratings decline. Remember MASH took awhile to catch on and eventually made lots of $$$ for a longvtime.
Another good show down in ratings due to being interrupting by holiday shows for sooo long. I hope this show is renewed along with Seal Team. Swat is another show that gives an inside look at what law enforcement goes thru with work and family. Please CBS, be more mindful when interrupting shows for “specisls”. Not everyone agrees with your decisions. Remember it took MASH awhile to catch on and made tons of $$$$$ in the long run.

SWAT should be on a season 3 why because it’s talking about the issues we have now and it bring a different plate on the table. . Swat is a Awesome show . It’s amazing. Everyone on that show is amazing. Here a thought maybe you should put a Hawaiian person or a different races in their. Just saying. Or maybe someone that is mixed can do a background or just in there doing something just a thought
We love SWAT, we couldn’t figure out why all our other shows were on but SWAT wasn’t .. We want SWAT back
