What can fans expect from The Conners? TVLine reports three more Roseanne cast members have joined the upcoming ABC spin-off series.
As reported earlier, The Conners will see the Roseanne family grapple “with parenthood, dating, an unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and in-laws in working-class America.” Returning cast members include John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, and Lecy Goranson.
Now, it looks like the rest of the Roseanne clan (minus Roseanne of course) are joining the ABC spin-off. According to TVLine, Emma Kenney, Jayden Rey, and Ames McNamara will return for The Conners.
And how will the series deal with Barr’s absence? Recently, John Goodman told The Sunday Times he’s still unsure how The Conners will address the issue:
It’s an unknown. I guess [Dan]’ll be mopey and sad because his wife’s dead.”

Without Roseanne I won’t be watching. I think they should bring her back she didn’t do nothing wrong
I will miss Roseanne but really like the supporting cast! They count another rating I’ll be watching!

Will watch a couple of times and see what it’s like. They are really going to have to do some very good script writing. Sad Roseanne won’t be on too.
