The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been renewed through the 2019-2020 television season, which will be the show’s 17th. The syndicated TV series’ early renewal comes from ten NBC Owned and Operated (O&O) stations. The comic’s syndicated daytime talk show had previously been renewed through the 2016-2017 television season.
Variety says, “The early renewal is a sign of the show’s importance to the NBC O&Os, which cover New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Miami, San Diego and Hartford, Conn.”

“For more than a decade, Ellen has anchored the daytime lineups of the NBC-owned stations, offering our viewers a great afternoon show, delivering a strong lead in for our early evening newscasts and helping to launch new hits,” said Valari Staab, President, NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations. The new hits Staab is referring to include talker Steve Harvey, which has done well paired with Ellen.
“Day in and day out Ellen delivers the best show on television,” said Ken Werner, President [Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution]. “Ellen and her team produce a completely unique and exciting hour, which is appointment television for viewers everywhere.”

I never miss her program. She has wonderful, clean talking guests and helps a lot of charities. Why should they cancel something that everyone likes and watches.

I would quit watching the tv station NBC tv of everything.. I’d do away from everything. Never watch another show day or night…she brings smile. Laughter, enjoyment lover. U name it to all her fans. Great great show. If sad she can make me smile and laugh and she has great Stars on her show and if take her off the air u will be making biggest mistake ever…She number 1… Wish had money go c her but don’t have money and disabled.and no money to fly there..but be dream come true.but hell my dreams never come true that’s truth….love… Read more »
Ellen is the most entertaining show any where ! Ellen’s shows can be watched over and over and it still makes you laugh until you cry ! Every one wishes that they had a FRIEND Like ELLEN DeGeneres ! even though I DON’T KNOW ELLEN NOR HAVE I MET HER, she brings laughter into my life and to all of Her FANS! I think Ellen has the best show on television!
This the ONLY talk show worth watching anymore. The others are so full of BS in one way or another. Ellen is real, down to earth, someone you can relate to. She doesn’t come off as a “celebrity” in any way. It’s like watching an old friend on TV.
Fantastic show. Brings out the best of humanity. It is both humor and compassion, in a comfortable trustworthy manner. Thank you.
Ellen’s show is the best show ever,i am a proud mother of 2 gay children and she gave me the strength and showed me it doesnt matter what your sexuality is, just be proud and hold your head hi, and i do that every day could not love my children or be more proud of them… would not change a thing luv them uncondtionally
I am very glad that Ellen’s show was renewed, though not surprised. The whole world seems to love her. I will follow her wherever she goes, but for now my husband and I are happy to watch Ellen as often as we can. I know she is a real person with flaws and follies like us all, but she is my role model for being the best person I can be. Carry on, Ellen!

I was recently laid off after 28 plus years. Ellen has become part of my morning routine ever since. She represents how people are suppose to treat one another. Her love, kindness, generosity and compassion puts a smile on my face and in my heart as well as tears streaming down my cheeks at times. I can’t imagine not watching her show. As long as Ellen is on, I will be watching. I absolutely love her and wish her well no matter what she chooses.
Love Ellen’s Daily Show – When Ellen is done is when the show should end.
I love the Ellen Show. When I am not home I DVR it so that I can see it later. I don’t think that it should ever be cancelled unless it is Ellen’s decision. Her show is at a time of day that makes you smile.
