Under the Dome aired its third and final season on CBS over the summer, but the series did leave an opening for the story to continue during its finale.
CBS has no plans to open that door at all though. Glenn Geller addressed the possibility of a revival for Under the Dome at the Winter TCA’s, and it is not even on the table for discussion at this time.
TV Guide shared the news on its Twitter during the CBS panel.

you stink CBS. I have not had TV for over 10 years. Only DVDS. I live in Germany. I got the series from Bx and the base library. Leave it to a TV station to ruin it for customers by not continuing the series to series 4. Do you care no. Here is my comment anyway.

I know this is late, but I thought I should put my 2 cents into it. As an avid fan of the book, I was so thrilled to see this become a show. The first season was wonderful, and some of the second! Loved seeing the insanity of Junior unfold, and some of the power of Big Jim getting to his head. However, those plots were left to rot, and Junior and Jim became heros despite Junior’s attempted murder, and Jim’s as well. I Know, shows can’t last for ever but I feel that, you could get a least one more season if it was able to explain everything in on more season- maybe you could put it on Netflix- come on I want more under the dome.
