WANDER, SYLVIA (Disney XD)
Disney XD has cancelled its animated Wander Over Yonder TV series after the second season. Creator Craig McCracken broke the news that there would be no third season, on Tumblr.
The voice cast of Wander Over Yonder stars Jack McBrayer as Wander and April Winchell as Sylvia. Lord Hater is voiced by Keith Ferguson. Tom Kenny voices Commander Peepers. Sam Riegel recurs as Emperor Awesome. Fred Tatasciore voices the masked Lord Dominator. Noël Wells supplies the character’s unmasked voice.

Wander over Yonder over?
I’ve been seeing a lot of speculation lately on whether or not Wander will be returning for a 3rd season. Unfortunately, the answer is no.
About a year ago we presented a pitch for a season 3 arc that promised to bring our characters together in new, unexpected, and hilarious ways. And just as S2 evolved from S1, we had a really exciting approach to evolving S3 even further. We had plans for new characters, the return of old characters, and even a bit of backstory! We were all really excited about the new direction and so were our bosses at DisneyXD and TVA.
Unfortunately, the higher up bosses of bosses of bosses at Disney decided not to continue with the show. It’s not that they didn’t like Wander, they just felt that 2 seasons and 80 cartoons was enough and they didn’t see the need to produce any more.
For the record, this decision had nothing to do with the ratings performance of S2. Truth be told, we were informed that we wouldn’t be continuing before S2 even premiered.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the fans who spread the word about Wander and encouraged people to try and watch it on air.
I know this news is kind of a bummer, but the recent surge in fandom from My Fair Hatey along with our win at the Annie’s for Outstanding Children’s Series has really made me and the whole Wander team feel that we are ending on a high note!

We gave it a go,
put on a heck of a show,
and did a lot of fun stuff we’ll get to laugh about after!
And for those keeping track we have 7 half hours left of S2 that will wrap up sometime in June.

It’s not fair! I don’t see why they cancelled. 80 episodes; quite a lot. However, I think expanding on the plot could draw in more viewers! Also, old viewers will be capacitated by the idea of seeing there old favorites.

AWW! Why did they not want anymore? After reading that Tumblr post, I got SUPER excited and upset! I mean, what new characters? What backstory?! I feel like Wander in the ep. “The Box”! Aw… Wander back here, Wander!!
I love this show so much to end, so I say let’s save Wander Over Yonder and sure you it’s just a cartoon but, Wander Over Yonder keeps me thinking about the positive things instead of the negative stuff Wander Over Yonder changed my life. I hope that the Wander Over Yonder Season 3 will air in the future if Disney changed their mind.

Surely there has to be another reason behind choosing cancelation of the series. As EmilyWolf123 below states, Wander Over Yonder is “a unique and creative show that really deserves to be continued.” Almost majority of the show’s fans are outraged at the sudden stop. Fans love the characters and wish to see more development in them as well. Wishing for more wandering…
Wander Over Yonder is a unique and creative show that really deserves to be continued. Anyone can tell how much potential this show has, and compared to some of the other disney channel shows, I find myself wondering why this was the one to be cancled. I’d hate to see all these amazing ideas and loved characters disappear. I hope Wander will continue!

Try going to change.org and looking up the Wander Over Yonder petitions and sign them it’s real easy and super simple and it won’t cost you a penny
