Quite upset that Home Fires is not returning. Good characters and story lines. Never good to just be left hanging.
Very sorry that Home Fires was cancelled. Loved the show and pick of actors was superb, we looked forward to it each week. We love Grantchester, Poldark and Call the Midwife. This is our first year financially supporting KCTS 9. Thank you for a wonderful selection of programming.
We absolutely loved Home Fires and can’t believe it’s been cancelled since it was so widely popular here in the US. Every episode was a masterpiece and the viewers felt a connection to the all of the characters. It was our favorite program! What a shame the decision to cancel this series was made, especially since the viewers were left up in the air regarding all the storylines in the final episode.
I am very sad that “Inspector Lewis” is ending. I like it even better than the original “Inspector Morse”.
Also I am disappointed that Mercy Street has ended. It wasn’t a very satisfactory conclusion.
Please reconsider more seasons of Home Fires, Indian Summers, The Coroner, Poldark, Sherlock, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, and the Guilty. Most of my TV watching is PBS or online Acorn TV. Quality TV is becoming more rare each year. We depend on you for the very best TV.
Agree completely with Lynn Head. PBS is my mainstay…the best on t.v.
I am disappointed that home Fires is being canceled. It seems that the viewers over 50 don’t count. Pbs is supposed to offer quality tv which it does for the most part. I also wonder why some local pbs stations don’t offer the new Dr. Blake series. 95 % of the tv shows we watch are on pbs. We would like to urge you to continue offering the quality tv programs like Home Fires, Dr. Blake, and Mercy Street ect. Thank you.

Please reconsider and continue with a season 3 of Home Fires. I have enjoyed it tremendously. It can not end with a cliffhanger. I have enjoyed watching these actors and hope we can have an ending deserving their characters. Thanks

What’s happened to the Dr Blake Mysteries? Great show & I know there were more series than those aired on pbs.
The Crimson Field. It ended way too soon. Loved the writing and characters. Please bring it back for another season!!!!

I am very sad and disappointed to see Mercy Street will be canceled. Great actors and actress. The history value alone is important for all ages to understand.
