HGTV is ready to hit the beach. Today, the network announced they’ve ordered 70 new episodes of Caribbean Life, Island Life, and Mexico Life.
The series follow a family or couple as they tour beautiful homes in the Caribbean, on U.S. island, and in the towns and beaches of Mexico.
The 70 new episodes of Caribbean Life, Island Life, and Mexico Life join HGTV’s newest fantasy life series, Mediterranean Life. The latest addition to the franchise debuted on New Year’s Day.

NEW YORK [Jan. 16, 2019] HGTV has ordered 70 more episodes of its popular fantasy lifestyle series Caribbean Life, Island Life and Mexico Life. The additional episodes will premiere during the network’s popular Sunday night lineup, which attracts more than 15 million viewers every week and consistently helps HGTV rank as a top 3 cable network among women 25-54 on that night. HGTV also recently announced the 14-episode pick-up of a new beach-themed series, Mediterranean Life, which premiered New Year’s Day.
In Caribbean Life, families tour beautiful yet affordable homes on white sandy beaches. While most people only dream of living on an island, Island Life showcases properties across the islands of the U.S. that fit any budget. Mexico Life follows homebuyers as they explore the country’s quaint towns, vibrant green jungles and beautiful beaches in search of a perfect retreat, while Mediterranean Life follows house hunters seeking the perfect Mediterranean escape to call their own.”

Bring back Caribbean life
I miss watching the beach tv shows on HGTV on Sunday night. I live in Mn so they can take me out of the cold weather each week. Mexico Life, Caribbean Life, Hawaii Life, Island Life and Beach Front Bargains should be put back on this network. The other new shows are ok but HGTV has them playing back to back for several hours and then it gets borning.
When are they coming back on?
Where are my beach shows Sunday nights? Are they cancelled for 2020?
Bring back Caribbean Life- it is missed
Please, please bring back Caribbean Life! I discovered it during the Pandemic, and binge watched it three times. I can’t wait for the program to come back. I am even planning to visit a couple locations to find my Caribbean Life home .
