The Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life TV show on FOX has been officially cancelled after its first and only season. This comes as a shock to no one who has been following the low-rated freshman comedy series. FOX previously demoted the show out of primetime, then wiped it completely from the schedule during May sweeps, replacing it with reruns of The Simpsons.
There is no word from Deadline, on whether FOX will burn off the remaining episodes of Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life, but that seems unlikely. Thirteen episodes have been produced. “How to Survive Your Parents’ Visit,” guest starring Alan Ruck, Jane Kaczmarek, and Juicy J (Jordan Houston) — the last new episode on April 17 — was only the 10th to air. The series starred Jack Cutmore-Scott), Meaghan Rath, James Earl, Charlie Saxton, Justin Bartha, and Liza Lapira.
Should FOX have cancelled the Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life TV series, or should it have been renewed? Were you a Cooper Barrett’s Guide fan? Sound off, in the comments.
Loved the show was really looking forward to season 2

really wish they didn’t cancel the show! it was hilarious! but I wish to see more of it on netflix since they just released it on there!
This is my best series movie after da Vinci’s demons.. Im really surprised fox cancelled this serie.. I hope Netflix or some other more genius appreciative guys take this one up.
This show was hilarious! Netflix should definitely pick this one up for more seasons!!
**** you fox
Was a great show finished it on Netflix I would definitely watch a season 2 . Maybe Netflix should pick it up ….
I just finished watching it on netflix. It was great! The off hand jokes killed me every time. Only weak points was the plot and some continuity issues but other than that i enjoyed it.
Funny show. Why can’t the bean counters leave entertainment to the professionals.
I just got hooked on the show from Hulu and it’s so funny! I hoped Hulu would pick it up like the Mindy Project.
I just found this while looking for the premiere date. A real shame, the show had snappy writing and a terrific cast. Snappy editing, too. This and Last Man are the only sitcoms on that I like, a little bit absurdist with a solid set of comedic actors. And we’ll probably never get to see those last three episodes.
It was a good show but I’m not surprised that fix cancelled it
Fox has been airing the show on Saturdays after PARTY OVER HERE. That’s undoubtedly where they’ll show the unseen episodes.
