Criminal Minds is getting ready for its end. A double episode series finale will air next Wednesday night, and CBS has now released details about both episodes for viewers of the series. Fans should expect some characters that departed the series to return for the big send-off.
CBS shared the following details about the episodes:
“Face Off” – It has been a year since Rossi nearly died at the hands of Everett Lynch, a.k.a. “The Chameleon,” and he has developed some new theories, with inspiration from his former partner, Jason Gideon (Ben Savage). The BAU team sets out on an epic hunt to capture Lynch, in the cliff-hanger to the series finale episode of CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Feb. 19 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
“And in the End” – Following an explosive face-to-face encounter with Everett Lynch, a.k.a. “The Chameleon,” Dr. Reid suffers from a brain injury and, while experiencing hallucinations, is visited by ghosts from his past. Also, the BAU makes a shocking discovery about Lynch that affects Rossi personally, and the entire BAU team comes together to celebrate Rossi’s retirement, on the series finale of CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Feb. 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Written by executive producer Erica Messer and series star Kirsten Vangsness.
Currently, the series averages 4.623 million viewers an episode.

Very sad that good shows leave or are cancelled while other shows continue. Love ctiminal minds love the characters and their stories. Will have nothing to look forward to on my criminal minds night. Hoping they will come back with a reunion show at some point.
I hate that it is ending.Best Tv series ever.Great cast.no series will ever be like criminal minds.what series will give us an unsub and wheelsup and quotes that are so powerfull.CBS should have let it run its course, there are alot of life changing issues that need to be look at closely and a lot of unsub that still that have not been caught.I will miss the show.A great loss for CBS

I’ve watched Criminal Minds since it’s inception! It feels like part of my life is over! Very sad about cancellation. A terrific show with terrific actors & actresses!
The good thing is that it isn’t cancelled on a cliffhanger but was announced to be ending and will have a proper finale
I hate that’s it’s ending. So much garbage on now,& I really like all these characters.
I feel like I am losing family members! Loved this show from the start!
Criminal minds is my favorite TV show. With some binging efforts on my part, I have seen every episode, in sequence, since S1 E1. I even saw the original series, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (with Forrest Whittaker as the Team leader)! Lol I am so invested in every character it truly will be tough when it all really does end. However, after 15 seasons, what a great run!
Yes I definitely hate to see it end. I’m so invested in these characters.
