TNT has announced that season three of Dallas will kick off on Monday, February 24th, at 9pm. The cable channel has ordered 15 episodes this time around, the same quantity as season two.
Though the ratings for season two were down significantly from the first season (due in part to moving the show from summer to winter), TNT renewed Dallas for another season back in late April.
This time around, TNT will break up the season into two parts, as they often do with their dramas. The first eight installments will air before the show goes on hiatus. The remaining seven will air over the summer. Season two ran straight through, from late January until mid-April 2013.
What do you think? Are you looking forward to season three of the new Dallas?
Didn’t know this past 2hr season finale was really a SERIES FINALE. I am sure JR (Larry Hagman) would love the show to keep going on for a couple more seasons. Now with so many cliff hangers, including Elena’s pregnancy (which I believe John Ross is the father even though Nicolas thinks he is since he put a pinhole in Elena’s diaphragm). Also, John Ross trying to find a sister he just found out about from a file that Emma gave him. Why do networks write in juicy parts & leave us fans left in a void. So unfair!!!
Yes I want Dallas to return but I thought it was coming back in Aug 2014! Feb is so far away!
