What light through yonder window breaks? ‘Tis a new version of Romeo and Juliet being developed at FOX, TVInsider reports.
The one-hour drama comes from writer Eduardo Cisneros and will be set in modern-day Los Angeles. It will focus on a the Latino music business.
This is Cisneros first network series project in the United States. He’s previously worked on the films Role Models and Lone Survivor.
What do you think? Would you watch a modern-day Romeo and Juliet?
Oh, Lord. A thirteen week West Side Story, with no music, and real Latinos? Sounds like what was done on Broadway in 2009. Is there no new thought on television anymore?
