Grimm was renewed by NBC for a sixth season earlier this week, but next season could be the final season for the series. While promoting the 100th episode last month, David Giuntoli teased that a sixth season could end the series – that is if the network renewed it.
One cast member shared the first page of the script for the season five finale last month, and it is very telling. The finale for this season is titled “The Beginning of the End.” This series has been given a sixth season, but it looks like the series could be heading towards the end. Bitsie Tulloch shared the finale script page on her Twitter.

A lot of the big questions behind Nick’s being a Grimm have been answered this season, so his journey coming to an end is not a surprise. It may be time to wrap things up.
Are you a Grimm fan? Will season six end the series? Tell us what you think.
I have been a fan of the show since episode 1, and own most of the dvds of previous episodes. However, I think the writers have gone off of the track in a way. “Fringe” was a victim of the same treatment: it was a clever show, too, but i think it got a little too weird. Their last season was inconsistent in quality and the characters were also inconsistent. With ” Grimm”, the stories have begun to get too bizarre – Adelind causes Juliet’s transformation, gets pregnant with Nick’s baby and claims to love him- for real?- the “Black… Read more »
It wouls be awesome if there was a move(Grimm The Movie)
I hope they continue with Grimm for a 7th season it’s my favorite show. I love it
Last post for me on this site.!!! grimm has a great chance to get season 7.!? if NBC wants., but they have to get new writers, that can get back to the grimm bro books.!! not this wesen of the week BS, kouf and greenwalt, are pushing on us.!! GRIMM is mini series stories, not wesen of the week.!! season 5 to date is a failure, and wont see high sales on dvd or blu-ray. for one they intro, trubel, ratings were going up.!! then they send her away.! wow.! thats what the show needs, young actors, to bring young… Read more »
I was hoping for at least 10 seasons. This is my wife’s and my favorite show, EVER. We haven’t missed a single second since we started watching right from the start.
Love Grimm! It will be sad to see the show end, but it will at least get a finale.
i love grimms characters.!! eve, trubel, munroe, bud, & rosale.!! but lets face it,!? the writers have lost touch with the show.!! if grimm wants to see season 7 ,NBC, would have to bring a high end writer/ director, like gillermo deltoro.!!!! and thats not happening.!! so kauf & greenwalt, finish your version of grimm.!! so that 10 years from now, better writers can do it better.!! i thank NBC, & the fans for season 6.!! SAVE GRIMM!! FIRE KOUF & GREENWALT.!!?? ps and barba.!!??
Better to have an end game then to let a series linger on into mediocrity or end on a cliff hanger that never gets resolved because the series is cancelled.
you are so right about that.!!
That is pretty much what happened to “Star Trek”- massive budget cuts, interference from the corporate “Powers That Be”, Roddenberry leaving and the general exhaustion of everyone involved. Thank goodness the movies came out! Leonard Nimoy once said something about going out before the show was completely destroyed. Alan Alda said something about “MASH” ending while still on top of the game.
