Will Elizabeth be a good President in the sixth season of the Madam Secretary TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Madam Secretary is cancelled or renewed for season seven. (In this case, season six is the end.) Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the sixth season episodes of Madam Secretary here.
A CBS political thriller, Madam Secretary stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Zeljko Ivanek, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Kevin Rahm, and Wallis Currie Wood with Evan Roe, Clifton Davis, and José Zúñiga in recurring roles. As U.S. Secretary of State for five years, Elizabeth McCord (Leoni) battled office politics, while driving diplomacy and negotiating global deals. In the sixth and final season, Elizabeth now holds the highest office in the land with the help of her team. The members include chief of staff Russell Jackson (Ivanek); counselor to the president Mike Barnow (Rahm); press secretary Daisy Grant (Miller); and charming assistant Blake Moran (Bergen). As Elizabeth debates policy and battles opponents on Capitol Hill, that’s just a warm-up for when she’s back at the White House residence with her supportive husband, theology-professor-turned-First-Gentleman Henry (Daly), and their children. It’s there that “politics” and “compromise” take on a new meaning.
What do you think? Which season six episodes of the Madam Secretary TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Do you think that Madam Secretary on CBS should have been renewed for a seventh season? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
Please renew Madam Secretary for season 7. For years it has been one of the best drama and continues to be. Thank you.
Netflix please renew Madame Secretary for Season 7
Since CBS won’t
I really loved Madame Secretary, the characters, the candidness, the integrity and having a Woman as President was certainly inspiring as she made such an ethical one at that! I wish she would run for office for real! Alot better than who we have now! My only disapointment was the episodes concerning vaccines and having the right to say NO to them being cast as a negative. The symptoms of measles being highly overdramatic and much more dangerous than in reality was too much of a propaganda nightmare. Other than that, I hope the show continues as it was my… Read more »
Just saw episode re. immigrating– separation of children from parents @ Mexican border. Excellent show!! This show is the best of TV, my favorite program. Please do not end!!
Madam Secretary has fantastic writing and acting. If the only series options, should Madam Secretary not be renewed, are shows like Chrisley Knows Best and Batwoman, I will be turning off the TV and reading even more in future.
this is my favorite TV show. I wish it would go on forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m soooo happy they named there new dog the same name I gave mine!!!! What are the odds.
RENEW
One of the best shows on. Lease consider renewing. Nothing wrong with going with Madam President. Tea’ Leoni is one of the best actresses and needs to stay on the air.
Renew the show.
Good show.
Please renew!!
Madam secretary is my all time favorite show. I wish we were able to see it continue for many more seasons.
We love the McCord family, along with the politics.
They already cancelled the show and said that this was the last season. I’m hoping that if the President side of things is really popular then they’ll spin it off. Please send these ratings to CBS!
I love the show and want more forever however I have yet to switch seeing and hearing her speak as a Secretary of State from being the president. The episodes feel a bit awkward like there trying to figure out how to fit in their new roles. Which is fitting since she needs to figure out how she will lead of course.
I like the show but when did Elizabeth become president they never covered that. It’s starting to get a little too political also.
I was a little I was also a little stunned at the sudden transition to president, but I think the show is good enough to carry it off. I want to see MANY more seasons!!
